En la imagen 05, la iglesia de San Nicolás (Nikolai; más info, en inglés, aquí), que no fue reconstruida después de la 2a. guerra mundial, quedando sus ruinas como recordatorio de la destrucción causada por los bombardeos a la ciudad. En 06, las iglesias de San Jacobo (Jacobi), al lado izq. de la imagen, y San Miguel (Michaelis, y también llamada "Michel"), en el centro y derecha. La iglesia de San Jacobo está junto a la calle Mönckeberg (Mönckebergstrasse), una de las principales calles comerciales de Hamburgo, y que une la estación de trenes principal con el edificio del Ayuntamiento. Desde la torre de Sn. Miguel, que tiene 132 m de altura, se tienen grandes vistas del puerto y la ciudad.
In image 05, the St. Nicholas (Nikolai; more info here) church, which was not rebuilt after WWII, and remains in ruins as a memorial on the destruction caused by the bombings in the city. In 06, the St. Jacobi (left part of the image) and St. Michael (Michaelis, or "Michel") churches. Jacobi's church lies close to the Mönckeberg street (Mönckebergstrasse), one of Hamburg's main shopping streets, and which goes from the main train station to the Town Hall. From Michel's tower, with a height of 132 m, one has great views of the port and the city.

In 03, the Beatles Place (Beatles Platz), on the Reeperbahn (but still not on the satellite views, because it was just finished at the end of 2008), close to the clubs where the Beatles performed by the beginning of the 60's, before beatlemania started. The square, which is open to vehicular transit, has the shape of a vinyl record and silhouettes of John, Paul, George, a "hybrid" of Ringo and Pete Best and, to one side, Stu. In 04, the Town Hall with the "Small Alster" (kleinen Alster) in the foreground, and a 10-second exposure of the Rickmer Rickmers museum boat on the Elbe river.
