Vencieron al Deportivo la Coruña por 1 a 0 y aseguraron su lugar para la próxima Liga de Campeones de Europa. La imagen 02 cubre el intervalo entre el inicio y el final del partido, aproximadamente de las 9 a las 10:50 de la noche. En la 03, esquina inf. derecha, el gol del uruguayo Diego Forlán al final del primer tiempo. En la 04, por poco se arma la guerra campal :) y Javier Aguirre le da indicaciones al Kun Agüero. En la 05, la salvada del Atlético casi al final del partido, y el festejo al final por el pase a la Champions, después de 11 años.

In 05, Atletico's defence save an inminent goal and, at the end, the fans celebrate their return to the Champions after 11 years.

"Chrome boy" (foto 06) sólo salió para una canción :( espués del "final" del concierto, Satriani regresó para tocar Summer Song (foto 09), algo que quizá estaba preparado, pues no la tocó durante el tiempo "normal", jeje.More of Joe Satriani doing his magic in Madrid. Un par de fotos tomadas de noche. A la derecha, la iglesia de San Ginés, en la calle de Arenal, en pleno centro de Madrid. Es una de las iglesias más antiguas de la ciudad (siguiendo el link de arriba hay detalles). A un lado de la iglesia está la Churrería San Ginés, lugar muy popular para comer churros y tomar un chocolate :)

Cerca del parque del Retiro, en el centro de Madrid, está la glorieta con la Puerta de Alcalá (foto 7), de donde parte la calle de Serrano, famosa por las tiendas de lujo que hay en ella. Un poco hacia el norte está la plaza de Colón, con los Jardines del Descubrimiento y una bandera gigante de España; a un lado se encuentra el edificio de la Biblioteca Nacional, la mayor biblioteca pública de España.Close to the Retiro park, in central Madrid, is the roundabout with the Puerta de Alcalá (photo 7), from which, among other streets, the Serrano street begins; this street is famous because of the many luxurious stores along it. A short distance to the north is the Colón Square, with the Jardines del Descubrimiento ("Gardens of Discovery") and an enormous flag of Spain; adjacent to the square is the National Library building, Spain's largest public library.
